Graduate Opportunities

University Placements
At Portview, our university placements offer hands-on experience that compliments your studies and builds real-world skills. Whether you’re in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architectural Technology or a related field, you’ll work on high-profile projects, gain industry insight, and receive mentorship to support your growth. We’re committed to helping you develop into a confident, future industry leader.
First Year
Whilst you are settling into your course we will be at careers fairs ensuring you are introduced to Portview and the world of high-end, dynamic and complex fit-out projects.
Second Year
We will meet and host classes and provide guidance on applications and interview preparation to support your placement here.
Placement Year
Spend the year working at Portview on a range of high profile projects across the UK and Ireland. Our diverse timetable will ensure you have 360° exposure to the full fit-out process where you can build connections and experience working both in our office and with clients on site.
Final Year
Return to university as a Portview ambassador with the potential to work up to two days a week around your classes. You will be financially supported in your final year and have the possibility of a job secured before you graduate.
Graduate Year
Receive a personalised development plan designed to support your progression with multiple career pathways available, such as Planner, Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Project Manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor.
High-Level Apprenticeships
Ready to earn, learn, and build a successful career? Portview’s High-Level Apprenticeship (HLA) programme blends hands-on experience with academic learning- offering industry-recognised qualifications without the burden of student debt.
In Northern Ireland, our HLAs are delivered in partnership with local colleges and universities, offering Level 4 and above qualifications in fields like Construction, Quantity Surveying, and Project Management. In England, our programmes follow nationally recognised apprenticeship standards, leading to Level 4, 5, or higher qualifications, and supporting your journey toward professional accreditation.

At Portview, we’re committed to developing future talent through short-term work experience placements.
