The design team created a scheme for the space over the entire four floors of the West Hospitality Stand, with each of the nine hospitality lounges and 16 VIP boxes having individual themes telling the story of West Ham United and the Olympic athletic legacy.
The stadium was in operation throughout the project, hosting significant events such as the Rugby World Cup and various music events, which meant that work was completed in two phases.
The building was transformed from a temporary structure, built for the Olympic athletics events, into a multi-use arena with a sustainable future delivered to BREEAM+ standards.
Key Point
Dense tones of mustard, purple and turquoise colours are used throughout the spaces in an exploration of the visual senses.
