The Markers lounges, I through IV, offer contemporary, flexible rooms capable of hosting corporate away days, training sessions, product launches, wedding dinners, and seasonal celebrations. On match days the floor operates as a premium ticket and sponsors’ lounge.
The name Markers takes inspiration from the stone markers that denote the start of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, a course that passes directly in front of the Riverside Stand. Portview executed a suite of high quality sliding screens and operable partitions that allow the Putney end of the floor plate to be subdivided for multiple simultaneous events, each with visual and acoustic separation. The Hammersmith end remains an expansive open plan area for large gatherings.
Level 2
Directors and Chairman's Lounges
At the heart of the building on the same level, the Chairman’s Lounge, sized for 20 guests, and the Directors’ Lounge, sized for approximately 60, set a new standard for executive hospitality. Working from Dion and Arles’ interior concepts, Portview helped develop the operational brief and then translated it into buildable detail. The palette is intimate and luxurious. Bespoke Galerie B carpets soften the rooms. Burled elm and rosewood veneers wrap walls and cabinetry. Bamboo veneer ceilings add warmth and fine grain. Rosso Orobico marble from Italy provides a striking stone accent. Hand finished joinery ensures seamless junctions and a residential level of refinement within a live stadium.
Location Level 3, 4 & 5
Sector Sports & Entertainment
At the uppermost levels, Portview realised Lighthouse Social, the first members’ club to open within a Premier League stadium. Portview undertook the orchestration of complex services, luxury materials, and intricate detailing across a rich sequence of rooms. The narrative is one of light, texture, and discovery, with each space carrying its own personality while remaining part of a coherent whole.
Level 3
Lighthouse Social
On Level 3, the Screening Room’s velvet-lined ceiling and heavy drapes evoke classic cinema glamour, while The Conservatory opens to the river in a greenhouse-inspired palette of brick, pastel tones, and soft light. The Library and Lantern dining rooms feel like private homes, with painted mouldings and parquet floors. Elsewhere, playful themes emerge, a railway-style Carriage Room, the lively River Bar with its DJ-led island counter, and The Hearth, a fireside lounge of plush fabrics and layered artwork.
Level 4
Lighthouse Social
Level 4 deepens the mood with richer colours and textures. The Savannah Room bursts with pattern and energy, while The Bridge Bar and The Escape offer contrast through darkness and intimacy. The Common Room provides a calm midpoint, its timber panels and brass inlays balancing structure and comfort.Level
Level 5
Skydeck
At Level 5, the journey culminates in the Skydeck – a rooftop retreat framed by oak decking, bespoke brass detailing, and stone sourced from Italy, Spain, and Brazil.
