Portview were appointed on a Design and Build basis for the refurbishment of three food and beverage concessions within the Hogan Stand concourse at Croke Park, Dublin.
Commissioned by Aramark in collaboration with the Croke Park team, the project formed part of an ongoing programme to enhance the stadium’s premium hospitality and matchday experience.

The scope comprised the refurbishment of three individual concessions at Level 3, including one Crossbar unit, one Leather & Ash concession, and one Eighteen 84 outlet. Building on the successful delivery of a similar 2024 project, the works introduced additional complexity through the amalgamation of multiple units to create a new large-scale Super Unit. This consolidated space now accommodates two Crossbar concessions, four Eighteen 84 eateries, and a fully fitted commercial kitchen, significantly increasing operational capacity and customer throughput.
Delivered within a live sporting venue, the programme demanded careful coordination and meticulous planning. The 12-week turnaround from contract award to completion required a fast-tracked design process, with Portview leading both preliminary and construction-stage design while maintaining close collaboration with the client team. Works were sequenced to minimise disruption and ensure the concourse was fully operational ahead of the NFL and NHL finals in April 2025, a critical milestone that was successfully achieved.

The design intent focused on bringing the Hogan Stand concourse to life, creating vibrant, contemporary concessions that enhance visibility, functionality, and customer appeal. Bright, inviting colour palettes were introduced throughout, complemented by bespoke LED backlit signage and precision-fabricated aluminium panelling to create strong visual identity and clarity of offer across each brand.
Material selections were driven by durability and performance, incorporating ceramic tiling, stainless steel joinery, Dekton worktops, and specialist commercial kitchen installations suited to high-volume matchday use. Behind the scenes, the kitchen layout was carefully planned to support efficient service, hygiene compliance, and ease of maintenance, ensuring long-term operational resilience.
