Portview delivered the full interior fit-out of the wider Fulham Pier development, with the hotel forming a key component of this major transformation.

Delivered on a Design & Build basis, the hotel comprises approximately 350 sqm of guest rooms, 71 sqm of terraces, a 70 sqm penthouse and a 115 sqm penthouse terrace, creating a premium hospitality destination within one of London’s most recognisable sports and entertainment settings.
The hotel introduces a refined, design-led hospitality experience within a live Premier League stadium environment, contributing to Fulham Football Club’s ambition to create a vibrant, year-round riverside destination.
The interior design, developed by Stuart Forbes Associates, was conceived to deliver a sense of relaxed modern elegance, balancing luxury with warmth, comfort and restraint. The design draws on a calm, muted palette of natural materials, bespoke joinery and carefully detailed finishes to reflect the hotel’s riverside setting and provide a tranquil retreat within a dynamic sporting venue.
Portview worked closely with the design team from early coordination through to final detailing to ensure the design intent was realised in full, while maintaining the operational performance and durability required of a high-use hospitality environment.
As the fit-out contractor for the entire Fulham Pier development, Portview brought a deep understanding of the wider Riverside Stand project and its operational demands. Delivering the hotel fit-out required close coordination with adjacent hospitality, leisure and public spaces, as well as careful sequencing within a live stadium environment.
Portview’s approach centred on rigorous planning, detailed technical coordination and early engagement with specialist suppliers. This ensured that interfaces with structure, MEP services, acoustics and bespoke installations were seamlessly integrated, while maintaining programme certainty and exacting quality standards.
Consistency of delivery was critical. From standard guest rooms through to the penthouse suite, Portview ensured that craftsmanship, detailing and finishes were executed to a uniformly high standard, aligned with both the designer’s vision and the expectations of a luxury hospitality offering.

The interiors are defined by a rich yet restrained material palette, executed with exceptional precision. The penthouse suite features striking book matched travertine stone, complemented by Dinesen oak flooring imported from Denmark, creating an understated sense of luxury.
Throughout the hotel, carefully selected natural stones including Onyx Azul Macauba from Brazil, Verde Alpi from Italy and Rojo Alicante from Spain are used across bathroom vanity units and wall finishes, adding depth and character. Solid oak joinery, doors and floors are used extensively to provide warmth and longevity, while polished plaster walls introduce texture and softness.
Bespoke laminated glazing incorporating a brass woven mesh detail between panes adds a refined decorative layer, and handcrafted gold-leaf eglomisé mirrors positioned either side of the penthouse bed create a distinctive focal point. Each element was meticulously coordinated to deliver a cohesive and timeless interior.
The completed Fulham Pier Hotel delivers a collection of individually designed rooms and suites, all offering outstanding views across the River Thames.
The hotel provides guests with a calm, luxurious retreat that complements the wider Fulham Pier destination while maintaining a strong connection to its riverside context.
As part of Fulham Football Club’s broader Riverside Stand development, the hotel strengthens the Club’s hospitality offering and supports its ambition to create a year-round destination that extends beyond matchday. The project demonstrates Portview’s ability to deliver luxury, design-led hospitality fit-out within complex, live sports environments, combining technical expertise, craftsmanship and collaborative delivery.
