This stunning design for Fortnum & Mason’s second-floor beauty hall incorporates traditional materials and includes inspiration from the store’s archive. Embellished with rarefied materials and semi-precious stones, including pink rose quartz, Amazonian malachite and fine veneers of figured sycamore and bird’s eye maple; the space comprises five main areas with an octagonal section dedicated to fragrance, the Scent Room, at the heart of the scheme.
